Nerd Month

Animal month is over! Some stats from the ten badges we released this month (how many did you get?):

More people have swam with dolphins than milked a cow

More people have been on safari than rode a horse-drawn cart

Finally, we sold 51 Pet badges and got 3310 notes on that badge. Swimming with dolphins only got 1027 notes but we sold 52 badges, so I’ve learned that a higher percentage of people will buy badges if the badge is particularly hard to achieve, which makes sense - although the easier badges get more people sharing stories, so it’s good to ensure a mix of both every month! (Percentages if you’re interested: 1.5% of Pet reblogs bought the badge, 5% of Dolphin reblogs bought the badge)
